being a singaporean, ive always been proud of our local delights especially when I hear praises from foreign friends. (very patriotic in this useless sense) often we (rather me) put our attention to food like satays, cha kuey tiao, bak ku teh (none of the above mentioned is my fav) or the infamous chicken rice. chicken rice had been the favorite of many including my mom who is the biggest fan ever. even before I depart for a long trip to new zealand, I dedicated my last meal to chicken rice. it’s a flavor that one couldn’t resist. (aint sure about veges lover) from hotel’s award winning rendition of chicken rice to the heartland coffee shop ones costing a mere of $2, we enjoy every single bite of the juicy meat, fragrant rice and the spicy chilli (not a chilli fan). having neglected the presence of duck rice for a long time, my family and i had a spread of it this afternoon at choon ting. friend j.seow loves johnson duck! sadly he’s in Sydney and not coming back till... unknown. i remember when I was younger my dad would always come back home with a whole duck and the drumstick always goes into my plate. i love drumstick. (I guess its due to the oily and tender texture. fat) the two duck’s drum is in my hands today and the first bite of it got me drowned! the skin of the roast duck is just oh so crispy. Its nice eating it once a while. too much makes me sick and guilty. duck oil eks. i dedicate this post to j.seow. miss u. details of yesterday below =p

fish and chips and beef burger at mad jack with sis. the fish is real big and tender and they need to go easy on the fries =p

:.... yeah. doing our version of gossiping about shit stuffs like people we eks and fav cars at the carpark + our 97% distorted faces.
