i swear today was one of the most tiring day in my entire life. my legs and feets were numb when i got back to the hotel - even the best osim leg massager cannot recover. started off at 8:25am at narita and finished off 9pm at tokyo. endless walking around harajuku, aoyama 1 and 2 to shibuya. thats 2 stations on the jr train line. (japan is big loh. station to station is freakin far...not like hk.) its definitely more than 7km of walking lugging bags full of everything squeezing among the cool jap people. (i only cropped medium bags, they have extreme big ones and is darn full.) okay. officially, i declare bankrupt. now.
now you know... : local cars like honda, toyota or nissian is obviously very cheap. one honda accord is approx S$15,000 only. but most japanese in cities like tokyo doesnt own a car cause parkin is expensive in the city. an average parkin fee in the city area is Y600 (about S$7.80) for one hr. so the 1.2 million tokyo population travels solely by train. (taxi is more expensive than owning a car + parkin)
CHECKED IN NARITA HOTEL:
ADVENTURE BEGINS..
NARITA TO TOKYO.
their street fashion is fantastic. uber cool. i see guys in tubes, i see girls in marine uniform. i see sushi dior homme. i see comme des garcons models walking on streets. i see labels everywhere. hermes and vuitton is a must. i see character in the area. i see fashion. i sense style.
for many, hare is one of the ultimate coolest japan label. no yet on runways but its fabulous. its the sushi dior homme. you cant get it in singapore. only hk and taiwan. i grabbed a couple of stuffs on instant.
THE HARD TO FIND LABELS..
houses the entire collection of uniqlo collaboration tees and related products. not to miss, i grabbed 2 designs.
theres tooo tooo tooo much cool labels all around aoyama.. every brand is there. i only snapped a few. enjoy.
CDG.
SHIBUYA.
also known as the thousand people crossing district. not a joke. i think every time the green man lights, theres thousands crossing the road. the most prominent is the 109 building. all the jap girls are tanned with thick make up and lian culture. 109 'la mei'!
HOTELU. EXHAUSTION IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT.
DISASTEROUS.
the extra large luggage is already full with buyings from the previous days.. i managed 7 bags today. since day one, i cropped 1 footwear, 2 bottoms, belts, a bag, 5 cloth totes, 1 cardigan, an obscene number of biotherms, alot and alot of ling ling kong kongss (exclu. food) and a total of 13 tees. disasterous.. and broke.
